I thought it was a bit ridiculous of Ted to try for a hook up. Especially after he says hes done dating and wants to settle down. No more filler! We’re on the last season of this amazing show! Should be full steam ahead.
It only seems ridiculous because we know Ted meets the mother in 2 days. Any 35ish bachelor at his 2nd best friends wedding is of course going to try and hook up. Just because he said he is ready to settle down doesn’t mean he is going to stop having his primal urges. Personally, I thought I laughed the most during this episode compared to the rest of the season. It felt more like a normal episode. I haven’t felt that about any episode in season 9. Favorite parts were Barney doing his, “come on, ted, please” begging (nice call back) and Lily having Daphne’s voice. Liked the Knight throughout the episode but couldve done without the “..chose Wesley” gag at the end.
