I’m just now getting a chance to watch so for now let’s start the discussion below and watch on twitter and facebook for the final post.
The main thing I know is that if you had any hope in the Carly Theory that is completely shattered now. First off, sorry. Secondly, I told you so. I know last week kind of killed it but not completely… in many minds there was still the chance that Carly might not to go to the wedding of her half brother who she barely knew or maybe never even met before. This episode killed it for good. Bravo.

what did you think about Ring Up?
The One Ring (to Robin): You’re not precious
Hilarious episode. I started laughing so much when Ted and Barney’s sister connected over Star Wars and she said she liked the new Star Wars better. Absolutely hilarious. And what a great song choice at the end.
Seeing as the title of the episode is “Ring Up” I figured it would be about Robin and a story tying in with her engagement ring. The writers of HIMYM did an unreal job of that and making the episode filled with laughter! I was hoping however, that the end of the episode would show a different side the the title “Ring Up” and be about a phone call. The previous episode ends in the future with Ted talking to Cindy and her partner about how the band for Robin’s wedding cancelled. Cindy refers Ted to her old roommate who is part of a band free to perform that week.
I was hoping this week’s episode would end with Ted in the future “ringing up” the girl asking if she could perform at the wedding, letting Ted and the fans hear future Mrs. Mosby’s voice for the first time!
naaah i think they will get to the mother in the next season this season is about barney and robin.
no time for a review? 🙁
if they start shattering every fan’s guess of who the mother could be we have a long way to go before the real mother pops out.
u’re totally right mate. I used think that sooner or later barney’s sister, mentionned very long time ago , would show up and make things move.
